Our Mission

The primary mission of Northern Lambda is to advance the interests and well-being of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community of Aroostook county Maine. Northern Lambda shall have as its strategic objectives:

• To help GLBT people divest themselves of negative attitudes about sexual orientation, to become comfortable with themselves, and to celebrate and appreciate the diversity of our community.
• To serve as an educational resource and role model within the community at large in an effort to positively effect attitudes about GLBT people.
